On Writing...
I write because I love characters and discovering what becomes of them. I remember deciding I wanted to write while reading a Bruce Coville book in second grade and now do it almost compulsively. I'm a firm believer in outlining and can't write unless I know where I'm going, but I also write very quickly once I have it all worked out. I take fanfiction as seriously as original fiction, and enjoy them both equally.
On Websites...
Goddamn son of a bitch fucking Internet Explorer. In related news, Firefox may be superior, but I like Safari better. Oh, and I'm much better at creating websites than at maintaining and updating them. But, duh.
On Politics...
I went to a liberal arts school in New England; which end of the political spectrum do you think I'm on? I'm a bit of a hippie. My main political issue is right to choose, though I'm also vehemently anti-death penalty. I try not to hate all Republicans, but have no respect for the current administration.
On Work...
I write, edit, research, fact check, and do odd jobs for a magazine no one's ever heard of. I enjoy having a long to-do list and definite deadlines; I can't focus if I don't have clear goals. I work best in short spurts with shorter breaks to goof off in between, which is a problem, as I share an office with my boss. He doesn't approve.
