QueenItsy.com is my vanity domain. It really has no higher purpose than that. Originally, it centered around a whole bunch of my creative projects; now it's slightly more diversified, slightly more mature, and updated a lot less frequently. What can you do? Its primary purpose is still to house my online, creative projects.
The domain was a birthday present from my parents, originally purchased in June of 2000. Though I started out with another host, they kind of sucked; now I use Dreamhost and love them to pieces. The domain name is registered at Network Solutions, who I can take or leave in terms of service. It's easier to keep it there than switch it.
The name of the domain comes from my self insert character from a bunch of stories my friends and I wrote in high school. Itsy was my childhood nickname, because I was (and remain) very short, and so it got used for my character. When the stories somehow got transported into a fantasy universe, Itsy became the ruler of the Queendom of the Moon. And since this domain has always featured a number of different projects, the unifying feature is that they're all labors of love, as created by me. So I named the domain for myself. Hey, I said it was a vanity domain.
I do all the layouts myself (with help from my more knowledgeable friends, when needed) by hand (or keyboard) in Taco HTML Edit, the graphics in Photoshop CS. I'm self taught at HTML and CSS, and quite proud of my skills, frankly. Anyway, the site generally looks best in Safari, since that's the browser I use, but should also work well in any browser and resolutions of 600x800 or greater.
I can't imagine there's much else to say about the site, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask me.
